2nd Annual Those Who Dared Celebration

April 13 | 11:30am - 2:30pm | Reynolda Hall, Greene Room

2nd Annual Those Who Dared Celebration

Each year the Scholars Program supports students across the College who apply for nationally competitive awards such as the Churchill, Fulbright, Goldwater, Rhodes, Schwarzman, Truman, Udall, and more. In honor and recognition of students who took a risk no one compelled them to take, who took on the extra work by taking that chance, who spent countless hours revising multiple drafts, the Scholars Program arranges a celebration for Those Who Dared greatly regardless of whether they won an award along with Those Who Encouraged them.

Please join us in celebrating these students, the mentors who encouraged them along the way, and the committee members who helped students prepare for interviews and refine their applications. Students who applied for awards supported by the Scholars Program will have a chance to nominate a mentor to be recognized at this celebration (an email invite will be sent to those students). This is a drop-in celebration with light refreshments, so come when you can and stay as long as you want!
