UK Awards

• Current seniors and recent graduates with significant achievements in leadership, civic engagement, or scholarship along with top-flight academics.
• Average GPA of selected recipients is 3.9 or above.
• Each award has a slightly different focus, so students are likely to be a better fit for one over the others.

Wake Forest may only nominate a handful of students for these awards each year. Interested applicants must submit an application and one letter of recommendation to the Selection Committee, who will determine which students move forward as nominees each year.

Deadlines

• Intent to Apply Deadline: May 10 (those who fill out this form receive access to the Canvas class for more in-depth information)
• Summer Assignment Schedule & Timeline
• On-Campus Nomination Deadline: August 1

• Candidates who complete the Intent to Apply form by May 10 are enrolled in a not-for-credit summer Canvas course
• A Draft Application is due by August 1, which includes:
  • Required essays
  • Resume
  • 1 Letter of Recommendation
