Continuing Student Scholarship Application Workshop

Friday, September 5 | 2-3pm | Location: Greene Hall, Room 308

Join us for an interactive session designed to help you submit a competitive application for the Stamps and Mullen Carswell Scholarships!

We’ll cover:

  • What makes a strong personal statement and short answer responses
  • Tips for selecting and approaching recommenders
  • Common application mistakes to avoid

Whether you’re just starting your application or putting the finishing touches on your essays, this session will give you the tools and confidence to submit your best work.

Who should attend: Current Wake Forest students who have completed at least one year of coursework

What to bring: Your questions and a notebook for taking notes

Light refreshments will be provided. Don’t miss this opportunity to get insider tips from the people who review these applications!

In addition to practical tips for building a strong application, you’ll gain insight into major fellowships and scholarships that support graduate study in STEM, and how to position yourself as a competitive candidate. Whether you’re just starting to explore graduate school or are in the midst of preparing your applications, this session will equip you with strategies and resources to confidently take your next steps.
