Are you studying abroad next year and looking for funds to help make that possible? Join us for an information session to learn more about the Gillman International Scholarship Program!
The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program (Gilman Program) provides up to $5,000 in merit-based scholarships to outstanding American undergraduate students with high financial need to pursue credit-bearing academic studies and career-oriented internships abroad.

Applications are due October 1st for study abroad programs happening between Dec 1, 2026 – October 31, 2027.

Merit Scholars Ice Cream Social

The Wake Forest Scholars Office is excited to kick off the year with an Ice Cream Social for ALL Wake Forest Merit Scholars! Come mingle and meet your fellow Wake Forest Scholars and enjoy a frozen treat from Cafe Gelato!
Who: All WF Merit Scholars
Where: Scales Fine Arts Center Breezeway (the open walkway between the upper and lower halves of Scales)
When: Friday, September 11 | 2-4 pm
**This is a drop-in event, so come when you can and stay as long as you like**
