Winston Fugate | Lexington, KY

What opportunity are you excited about being involved in?
“The Old Black and Gold Newspaper, because I really want to hone my writing skills and experience the world of journalism and opinion piece writing.”

Agatha Graham | New York City, NY

What are you most excited about this coming year?
“I’ve spent my entire life on the same block in New York City. I can’t wait to make my home in a new place that dedicates itself to nurturing and cultivating the leaders and thinkers of tomorrow! In high school, we learn to generate ideas. In college, I look forward to learning how to turn those ideas into real projects that impact a campus, a research field, or eventually, the world.”
Ama Mante | Greensboro, NC

Carter Nesmith | Richmond, VA

Miriam Rehder | Summerfield, NC

What’s something you can’t leave home without?
“My sketchbook for drawing and writing! The only time it doesn’t leave the house is when I’m on an errand or exercising.”
