Project Title: Assessing Change in the local Natural and Built Environment utilizing Photogrammetry as a means for increasing accessibility

During Summer 2024, I used my Enrichment Funds and the Wake Forest Research Fellowship to build an in-house photogrammetry studio for the Lam Museum of Anthropology on Wake Forest’s Reynolda campus. With this studio, we captured 3D models of all 138 artifacts in the Lam Museum’s Bura collection in order to aid their repatriation efforts. As an Engineering and Music double-major, it was incredibly special to combine my loves for STEM and the humanities into a single, passionate project; my summer experience of building workflows, self-managing my time, and building guides for others provided me the skills I needed to pursue other projects and land a job in my city of choice.
