. . . graduating scholars who engage the world through international study, broaden their minds with academic research, make intentional career decisions, and lead lives that matter in the spirit of Pro Humanitate.
The Wake Forest Scholars Office identifies and promotes high academic and civic achievement among undergraduate students from a wide variety of backgrounds and intellectual interests. We are the primary source of guidance for first generation college students through programs such as Magnolia Scholars and First in the Forest. We also support academic scholarship recipients and their development; students seeking upperclass scholarship and summer research resources; and students and alumni/ae with interest in pre-graduate and post-graduate nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships such as Truman, Goldwater, Fulbright, Rhodes, Marshall, and other programs. Our mission and our responsibility are to encourage excellence that can lead to great opportunities, both while at Wake Forest and after college. Our scholars represent an important investment in the present culture and future identity of Wake Forest University.
