The Rhodes Scholarship is a life-changing opportunity to join outstanding young people from around the world who study as a cohort at the University of Oxford. This fully funded, full-time postgraduate award is extremely competitive.

Marshall Scholarship

The Marshall Scholarship finances young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in any field at eligible institutions within the United Kingdom. Up to fifty Scholars who demonstrate academic merit, leadership, and ambassadorial potential are selected each year.

Alice Hauser (’23) Named Rhodes Scholar

Philosophy and Piano Performance double major and refugee advocate Alice Hauser has been awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to study at England’s Oxford University beginning in the fall of 2023.

Wake Forest senior Savarni Sanka has been named a Rhodes Scholar. Sanka, who is from Raleigh, N.C., plans to pursue a masters of public policy and masters of science in refugee and forced migration studies.
