Bio
Cat received her B.A. in Theatre from Greensboro College (’22) and her M.Ed. in Student Affairs Administration from UNC Greensboro (’25). Prior to joining the First in the Forest team, Cat worked in intercultural engagement, primarily focusing on peer education and sustained dialogue initiatives as well as college access programs for first-generation students. As a first-generation student and Pell Grant recipient herself, Cat’s goal is to support and empower students the same way she has been uplifted by her own support system since she began her collegiate journey. Cat’s core values center authenticity, advocacy, and curiosity. She is looking forward to bringing those values into her work in the First in the Forest program and to building relationships with students and colleagues.
