Udall Undergraduate Scholarship

• Currently a sophomore or junior;
  • Students must have completed at least 3 semesters of college coursework (AP and college credits taken while in high school do not count).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or U.S. permanent resident.
  • Students applying for Tribal Policy or Native Health Care must be Native American or Alaska Native. For purposes of the Scholarship Program, a Native American or Alaska Native is an individual who is:
    • U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents who are members of either State- or Federally-recognized Tribes;
    • Descendants of U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents who are members of either State- or Federally-recognized Tribes;
    • Those considered by the Secretary of the Interior to be an Indian for any purpose; and 
    • Alaska Natives.
• Working towards positive solutions to environmental challenges or issues impacting Indian country.

Wake Forest may only nominate four students in the environment category and four students in the Tribal public policy and health care fields category. Interested applicants must submit a Pre-Application, a transcript, and a resume to the selection committee, which will determine which students move forward as nominees each year.

• Pre-Application Deadline: October 20

• Submit the Pre-Application by October 20, which includes:
